I don't like that I paid for this app, but can't access it offline. that should be addressed.

A lovely presentation of this story. My 5 year old never tires of it.

The design of some of these books is great. This one is one of the let downs. Some of the books (apps) that we have (e.g. Cat In The Hat and Green Eggs And Ham) are wonderful for helping kids learn to read. Pressing on a single word causing that word to be read out loud and long pressing for the entire paragraph to be read out loud is perfect for when they are trying to read it themselves. This book and some of the others read only the entire paragraph and won't read single words. If a child gets stuck on one word, instead of providing help for that one word, they have to listen to the entire paragraph again which destroys any rhythm they had. Please update this! **Upgraded to 3 stars because of the quick response. Will be 5 stars if they add the single words feature.

If you are not online OR their server is down, you can not read these books. Nice one marketeers.

My son loves these. I wish there was more than one story per app since some of them are pricey, but regardless, my son loves every one we've gotten.
